As Executive Producer of Playidy™, I want to take a moment to honor Miami Beach PD Motorcycle Sergeant David Cajuo, who gave his life in the line of duty. Sergeant Cajuo’s courage, service, and dedication to protecting our community will never be forgotten.
Our deepest condolences go out to his family, friends, and the entire Miami Beach PD.

In that spirit of service, we also spotlight the quiet heroes who keep our communities resilient: the Amateur Radio Operators supporting the City of Fort Lauderdale’s Emergency Mobile Response Unit.

Filmed at Holiday ParkHoliday and Florida Panthers Baptist Iceplex at Holiday Park in Fort Lauderdale, their volunteer communications work strengthens response efforts when seconds matter—bridging gaps, backing up critical systems, and standing shoulder to shoulder with first responders during emergencies.

We further celebrate the compassionate mission of Shriners Children's, whose care and commitment uplift families when they need it most. Together, these heroes—on the streets, behind the radios, and inside our hospitals—remind us what unity and service look like.
