Queer as Folk puts Pride on Television

What exactly is the point of Pride? The parades, the parties, the Dykes on Bikes -- why do we do this year after year, and who is it for? These are the questions posed in a 2002 episode of the Showtime series Queer as Folk. Through various intertwined stories about marriage, booze, and family fights, the episode asks some big questions about Pride -- questions that the queer community is still trying to answer today.
