BI arrest US Air Force National Guard Jack Teixeira over the leaks of top-secret Pentagon docs

THIS is the moment US Air National Guardsman Jack Teixeira was arrested by FBI agents investigating the top-secret Pentagon files leak.

Jack Teixeira, 21, has been taken into custody after he was detained in Dighton, Massachusetts.

US Attorney General Merrick Garland said Teixeira was arrested "without incident" and he will have an initial appearance in court.

Jack Teixeira is a 21-year-old national guardsman with the Massachusetts Air National Guard.

Jack is enlisted in the 102nd Intelligence Wing of the Massachusetts Air National Guard.

He serves as a member of the intelligence wing and his identity was first reported by The New York Times.

Teixeira oversaw an online Discord group called Thug Shaker Central where approximately 30 people - mostly young men and teens - shared a love of guns, racist memes, and games.

The group is allegedly responsible for leaking the documents.
The leaked documents, which were shared on Discord, Twitter, and Telegram, contain sensitive information about the support the United States is providing Ukraine amid its war with Russia.

The documents detail the US and Nato's plans to help Ukraine prepare ahead of a spring offensive against Russia and suggested China has secretly launched a 6,500mph hypersonic missile that could beat US defense systems.

The attacks on 9/11 altered America in many ways, from barricades and body frisks in airports to greater government scrutiny of people’s records and electronic surveillance of their communications. The watershed, officials told FRONTLINE in the 2007 documentary “Spying on the Home Front,” was the government’s shift to a strategy of pre-emption at home — not just prosecuting terrorists for breaking the law, but trying to find and stop them before they struck.

The documentary probed the ramifications of that strategy, explored how the National Security Agency’s domestic surveillance program worked at the time, and examined various viewpoints on whether the Bush administration violated the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act and infringed on constitutional protections.

Officers in Santa Ana respond to a robbery in progress and confirm by surveillance footage that two armed men robbed the restaurant. Another robbery occurs nearby and witnesses describe the same two men. Little Rock, Arkansas Officers are told a man has a weapon behind a building and discover a man screaming and pointing a pocket gun at another man. San Bernardino County Deputies use bolt cutters to make entry into a property where one man claims he shot himself in the foot during an argument.

Ft. Worth Police serve a search warrant at a house. The officers determine that the men are selling out of a hole in the window and recover 30 discarded crack rocks. A Hamilton County, Ohio Corporal responds to a fight call and learns that an argument between cousins escalated to punches being thrown, but the two men decline to press charges and instead hug it out. Officers in Ft. Worth stop a truck and notice the driver is chewing on a blue baggie which they determine contains cocaine.

Officers in Pierce County, Washington respond to an auto burglary involving a gun. A K-9 from Tacoma is brought in to help track and leads deputies to a man hiding inside of a sleeping bag who resists arrest. A stolen vehicle pursuit in Little Rock, Arkansas ends when the suspect crashes and attempts to hide inside of a drain pipe. Officers in Ft. Worth look for a wanted suspect at his girlfriend's house. Despite her claims that he hasn't been around, Officers locate him cowering under a bed.

The nearly week-long state funeral of former US President Jimmy Carter has officially begun following his death last month aged 100.

The six days of ceremonies started on Saturday with a motorcade procession from the Carters' hometown of Plains, Georgia, to Atlanta, where he will lie in repose until he is moved to Washington DC.

Once all the services have concluded, Carter will be buried in his hometown alongside his wife, Rosalynn, who died last year at age 96.

Jimmy Carter, the 39th President of the United States, lived longer than any president in history.
