Playidy™ is an IPTV-connected radio station which streams 24/7 in the United States, Canada and United Kingdom. Playidy™ (initially under the brand of SONIK VIBE) was founded by DJ Gary, also Executive Producer of a documentary series called AMERICAN EPISODES.
DJ Gary's music journey began shortly after his third diagnosis of Stage 4 Cancer. While literally lying on death's bed, DJ Gary heard a music stream known as DANCE WAVE which, in essance, saved his life and renewed his spirt and will to live. DANCE WAVE was the cornerstone for DJ Gary t "get up" off the floor and resume living life.
Seven years later, DJ Gary managed to take the concept of a music stream he once heard, DANCE WAVE, and founded SONIK VIBE, SONIK VUE and now, Playidy™. We built, we failed. We built, we failed - and continue to get back when we fell - using music as the antidote to inspire us to never give-up.
Likewise, after pulling the plug on Chemotherapy, DJ Gary began paving the path to film and produce a documentary series called "AMERICAN EPISODES™ ".
The AMERICAN EPISODES™ film project initilly began with Muhamad Ali, Jr. (the natural born Son of the Greatest Sports Heaveyweight Champion of the World, The Late Muhammad Ali). Thus, AMERICAN EPISODES™ was born; filming in realtime "The Human Touch of First Responders and Unsung Heroes".
From Boston, New York to Key West, the 5-year film project, "Captured-In-Reel Time", "The Human Touch of First Responders and Unsung Heroes" simply using an iPhone.
The remastered Pilot Trailer/Episode was re-edited to include an Intro with Elton John and David Furnish, "On the Red Carpet", - content that was available to us under Creative Commons, filmed by FP Fashion Passport TV..
AMERICAN EPISODES™ is produced by SONIK VUE™ (now Playidy™) with music by SONIK VIBE™ and Playidy™.
