Jimmy Carter funeral LIVE: Former president honored in Washington, D.C.

Watch live coverage of former President Jimmy Carter’s state funeral in Washington, D.C.

Carter will be transported from the U.S. Capitol to the Washington National Cathedral where President Joe Biden will deliver a eulogy. Other living former presidents, including President-elect Donald Trump, are expected to attend.

After the funeral, Air Force One will carry Carter and his family back to Georgia. Carter will be buried next to his wife, former first lady Rosalynn Carter, in a plot near the home they built in Plains, Georgia.
Carter’s casket will depart the U.S. Capitol at 9 a.m. ET
