210 Million Tons is about the excessive garbage the United States is creating and ways we can reduce, reuse, and recycle. This documentary features interviews with a director of solid waste at a landfill, dumpster divers, local authorities, a microbiologist, and several others on this issue.

This documentary was made with another production party Be Reel Pictures for a documentary filmmaking class at Colorado State University. There were two cameras in use, my XL2 and the Journalism Department's Panasonic which is why the video is split between wide screen and 4:3. The project went really well and the interviewees were an absolute blast to work with.

Officers on patrol in Santa Ana, California stop a man who tries to pedal away from a stop and discover a concealed firearm. A man runs from an officer in Gwinnett County, Georgia, fleeing into his mother's apartment, where he hides money and crack cocaine. Las Vegas Police spot a male and female in a physical altercation. The woman claims that the man is her boyfriend and that they both live with her husband, but the man has become obsessed and made threats to kill her while choking her.

A delirious woman becomes defensive when she's accused of bizarre behavior and begins fighting with officers in front of her kids. Grandma arrives and explains just how dire the situation has become. North Las Vegas officers assist a mother with her wayward daughter. The emotional teen argues that she can take care of herself on the streets. The officers offer her a choice: a ride to jail or home with her mom. A paranoid man clad in only a towel makes wild claims of being chased by unseen men.

The K-9 unit assists in recovering an elusive suspect. A vehicle collides with a pole after careening off the road. A man is arrested for harassment.

Gwinnett County Police respond to a call where an irate female slaps her boyfriend in front of them, screaming that she caught him naked with another woman. Las Vegas Officers conduct a high risk stop when they find the suspect wanted for breaking a woman's window and holding a knife to her throat while searching for his girlfriend. An unknown trouble call in Maricopa County leads to a frightened woman whose new boyfriend has taken an extreme amount of meth and is exhibiting bizarre behavior.

50 Years of Country Music. A 1978 3 hour Televised special recorded from the Kraft Music Hall in Nashville, Tennessee. Hosted by Dolly Parton, Glen Campbell, and Roy Clark. This is the first part of two. The Quasar VX format does not allow recordings longer than 2 hours (give or take.) I do plan to upload the second 1 hour part, absolutely.

The history of county music is celebrated in this special event. Live performances include: Roy Acuff, Kitty Wells, Bill Monroe, Ernest Tubb, Crystal Gayle, Merle Haggard, Ray Charles, Loretta Lynn, Waylon Jenings, The Carter Family, Don Williams, Merle Haggard, Lynn Anderson, Barbara Mandrell, The Gatlin Brothers Band, Mel Till and Johnny Cash.

Country music has deep roots in America's history. Just like Rock, Country music stems from the rhythm and blues. Modern day music shows are unlike the shows of the 70s, i think you may agree.

This recording was televised by NBC and recorded back in January 22, 1978 onto two 1977 Quasar VX format videotapes that i purchased via eBay. I did not add watermarks, edit or add my own personal audio commentary in order to preserve the original presentation. The quality is very low due to the 43 year old videotape along with the single head system of the 1977 Quasar VR-1000 (Great Time Machine) VCR. This is the most complete presentation that i have found on YouTube. If you own a better copy please share it for all the world to enjoy. Till then...Enjoy!

Starting with the Oslo Accords and continuing through to the current war in Gaza, “Netanyahu, America & the Road to War in Gaza” draws on years of reporting and takes an incisive look at the long history of failed peace efforts and violent conflict in the region — and the increasing tensions between Israel and its ally, the U.S., over the war’s catastrophic toll and what comes next.

The documentary traces the tenure of Israel’s longest-serving prime minister and the years of jockeying between him, U.S. presidents and the Palestinians. It features firsthand accounts of insiders and advisors to Netanyahu, U.S. presidents and Palestinian leadership, as well as key insights from experts and observers of the decades-long conflict. Painting a revealing portrait of Netanyahu’s political evolution and fateful decisions, the film also draws on past interviews from FRONTLINE’s 2016 documentary “Netanyahu at War.”

“Netanyahu, America & the Road to War in Gaza” also shows how, in the wake of President Joe Biden’s initial embrace of Netanyahu in response to Oct. 7, the relationship has become increasingly fractious, with the president pressing Israel to embrace a two-state solution to the conflict, and the prime minister vowing not to “repeat the mistake of Oslo.”

When “Supplements and Safety” aired, it was estimated that half of all Americans took a health supplement every day, from fish oil to multivitamins to diet pills. However, the acting commissioner of the Food and Drug Administration at the time noted in “Supplements and Safety” that, “The FDA does not do any review of dietary supplements before they come onto the market, and I think that all consumers need to understand this.”

From director Neil Docherty, correspondent Gillian Findlay and Anahad O’Connor, then a reporter for The New York Times Well blog, “Supplements and Safety” explored the limited government regulation and oversight of supplement companies, and examined cases of contamination and serious health problems.

FRONTLINE and @WashingtonPost investigate how a young Air National Guardsman, Jack Teixeira, allegedly leaked classified documents on the Discord chat platform for over a year — and why he wasn’t stopped earlier.

It was one of the biggest leaks of government secrets in U.S. history: more than 300 pages that included highly classified information from secret Pentagon assessments of the war in Ukraine, to revelations about Iran’s nuclear program, Chinese aircraft carriers and the killing of ISIS terrorists.

The leaked documents, which came to light in April 2023, were posted on the gaming and chat platform Discord, allegedly by 21-year-old Jack Teixeira, who had managed to get a security clearance despite a troubled past. What was his motivation? Why didn’t the military stop him? And what was the role of Discord, a privacy-oriented platform popular with teenage gamers?

FRONTLINE and The Washington Post investigate those questions in “The Discord Leaks.” From an award-winning team that includes FRONTLINE directors Thomas Jennings and Annie Wong and Post reporters Shane Harris, Samuel Oakford and Chris Dehghanpoor, the documentary draws on months of groundbreaking reporting by The Post, including access to hundreds of the leaked documents its reporters obtained. The documentary includes new collaborative reporting with FRONTLINE revealing in greater detail Texeira’s online world, and his history of violent threats, racism and conspiracy theories. The documentary also features exclusive on-camera interviews with the alleged leaker’s close online confidantes, Discord’s VP of trust and safety and a former head of the Air National Guard.

The FRONTLINE-Washington Post investigation raises tough questions about how the military’s vetting process addresses applicants’ internet activity, how Discord polices hate speech on its platform, and why the alleged leaker — who has pleaded not guilty — wasn’t stopped sooner despite multiple red flags.

To illustrate the extent of the leaked material, FRONTLINE and The Washington Post used images of classified documents in this film that had been previously released in news reports, on social media and elsewhere on the internet.

ICIJ, FRONTLINE and reporters around the world examine the global entanglement of political power and secretive offshore finance, and how U.S. trusts are sheltering millions in controversial assets.

The “Pandora Papers” documentary is one component of a worldwide investigation with ICIJ that draws on a trove of nearly 12 million confidential financial files from firms that set up shell companies and offshore accounts for clients seeking to keep their wealth in the shadows.

For close to two years, ICIJ has led an investigation into these leaked documents. More than 600 journalists from 150 media organizations have participated, including FRONTLINE. The investigation explores the hidden assets and secret deals of more than 130 billionaires, 35 country leaders and some 300 other politicians and public officials.
