The 6 million-ton Great Pyramid of Giza is the last surviving wonder of the ancient world. How did the Egyptians engineer the mighty pharaoh Khufu’s tomb so precisely, with none of today’s surveying and power tools? And who were the thousands of laborers who raised the stones? Were they slaves or volunteers, and how were they housed, fed, and organized? "Decoding the Great Pyramid" presents the latest evidence from groundbreaking archaeological research that has transformed our understanding of the ancient world’s most ambitious engineering project, revealing a “lost city" and intimate details of the lives of the laborers and officials who toiled on the vast construction. Amazingly, French archaeologists recently found the logbook of a labor team that delivered limestone blocks to build the Great Pyramid, yielding crucial insights into the planning and logistics behind the operation. Beyond these construction secrets, "Decoding the Great Pyramid" traces how mobilizing the colossal labor and resources invested in the monument transformed ancient Egypt, uniting a nation behind the common goal of ensuring eternity for the pharaoh and continuing prosperity for everyone in this life and the next.

Prince Royce is in one of the most revelatory stages of his career. His new album ‘Llamada Perdida’ is one of his most personal works to date, with lyrics inspired by breakups, romantic relationships and personal challenges. It’s also one of his most sonically ambitious works, with collaborators as diverse as Gabito Ballesteros, Boogie wit da Hoodie, Lenny Tavárez and Paloma Mami. “I think that it was difficult for me to put some of these songs out,” Royce told Rolling Stone. “Ultimately, I had fun with it, and I think it was a therapeutic experience for me. It gave me closure.” The risks paid off in dividends. The collaboration with Ballesteros turned into his 24th number one hit on the Billboard Latin Airplay chart. About his song “La Corriente”, which he performed live at Vevo's studio in New York, the crooner says that it’s a “sexy” track that highlights how complex bachata as a genre can be. “It’s hard in bachata to mix a lot of sounds without it being disturbing to the ear,” Royce said. “This is bachata in 4K.” Watching “Champaña” performed live, with the intensity and drama that Royce’s voice carries, is a testament to the unforgettable sonic highways the Dominican is opening for the genre.

However, the acting commissioner of the Food and Drug Administration at the time noted in “Supplements and Safety” that, “The FDA does not do any review of dietary supplements before they come onto the market, and I think that all consumers need to understand this.”

The “Pandora Papers” documentary is one component of a worldwide investigation with ICIJ that draws on a trove of nearly 12 million confidential financial files from firms that set up shell companies and offshore accounts for clients seeking to keep their wealth in the shadows.
For close to two years, ICIJ has led an investigation into these leaked documents. More than 600 journalists from 150 media organizations have participated, including FRONTLINE. The investigation explores the hidden assets and secret deals of more than 130 billionaires, 35 country leaders and some 300 other politicians and public officials.

“Two American Families: 1991-2024” documents the saga of two families, the Stanleys and the Neumanns, who have spent the past 34 years battling to keep from sliding into poverty, and who refuse to give up despite upheaval in the U.S. economy. When the team first began documenting the families’ lives in 1991, the Neumanns and Stanleys were both struggling to adapt to a new, global economy and the trend towards part-time, lower-wage work.
With profound intimacy, the documentary follows the stories of the Stanleys and the Neumanns across six presidential administrations and offers a powerful window into how they and their now-grown children have fared while trying to stay afloat in an economy that has presented challenge after challenge for them.
“There are so many people struggling the same way with the cost of everything and not getting enough on your paycheck to cover your monthly expenses,” said Terry Neumann, who was a mom of young kids when the documentary’s producers began filming with her and is now in her early 60s. “It’s like we haven’t come very far.”
“I won’t give up,” said Jackie Stanley, who is working as a real estate agent while entering her 70s.

Multiple law enforcement officers were shot and killed while serving a warrant in for possession of a firearm by a convicted felon in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Three U.S. Marshals were killed, another five police officers were wounded by gunfire, according to Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Chief Johnny Jennings.
One suspect was found dead inside the home. Authorities said two shooters were involved in the attack.
The shooting broke out at about 1 p.m., prompting a massive law enforcement response as police cars and ambulances raced to the neighborhood and shut down surrounding streets. Gunfire continued for several minutes after the initial shooting.

On May 21, 2022, officers responded to a reported assault. The caller stated that a woman, previously trespassed from the property, had entered her store and started causing a disturbance. She also threatened the surrounding customers. The woman was very hostile toward the lady and did not want the officer to speak with her. She continued to talk trash to the lady and created a disturbance. Once taken to the jail, the woman began hitting the officers. The incident was not recorded. She was charged with aggravated battery upon a peace officer, assault and breach of peace.
