Addie Rerecich was a happy 11-year-old girl who loved sports and talked a mile a minute. But when a mysterious pain in her hip landed her in the hospital in 2011, she began a downward spiral into the nightmare of a new kind of antibiotic-resistant infection that is confounding doctors across the world.
Addie’s precipitous decline might sound unusual, but as FRONTLINE reveals in “Hunting the Nightmare Bacteria”, medicine’s struggle with deadly drug-resistant infections is becoming all too real. After decades of antibiotic overuse, the crisis of untreatable infections has only deepened. Most major drug companies, squeezed by Wall Street expectations and facing steep scientific hurdles, have abandoned the development of new antibiotics. Howard Allan Stern is a well-known American radio jockey, television host, actor, and author. He started his career as a marketing executive and later worked as a radio salesman, from where he worked his way up to midday shifts at a radio station, eventually becoming the station’s production director. He has worked with a number of radio stations that include WWWW, WWDC, WNBC, and WXRK.
He became a national sensation when his show ‘The Howard Stern Show’ gained popularity throughout America. The show, which was first aired in 1986, had a tremendous run until it was finally taken off air in 2005. During its run, ‘The Howard Stern Show’ had gained a whopping 20 million listeners and was aired across 60 markets. Howard is also well-known for his television shows, such as ‘The Howard Stern Show’ and ‘The Howard Stern Interview.’
His book ‘Private Parts’ became a bestseller and was later adapted into a movie in which he appeared as himself. Stern is known by his self-proclaimed title ‘King of all Media,’ for his contribution across all major entertainment platforms has been immense over the years.

A third Palm Beach County deputy involved in a devastating wreck near Loxahatchee last week has tragically passed away Monday, the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office told WPTV News. Ignacio "Dan" Diaz, Deputy Sheriff Ralph "Butch" Waller, and Corporal Luis Paez — all motorcycle deputies — were struck by a Jeep SUV on Nov. 21 while stopped on the shoulder of Southern Boulevard, just west of Seminole Pratt Whitney Road. Waller and Paez were pronounced dead that same day, while Diaz was in critical condition for several days before passing away at approximately 12:45 p.m. Monday, the sheriff's office said.

Jimmy Kimmel called out Donald Trump during the Oscars after the former US president called him the “worst host”.
“I was told we have like an extra minute, and I’m really proud of something and I was wondering if I could share it with you. I just got a review,” Mr Kimmel said at the 96th Academy Awards.
“Has there ever been a worse host than Jimmy Kimmel at The Oscars,” Mr Kimmel said reading the post from Trump.
“Blah, blah, blah, make America great again,” Mr Kimmel said as he continued to the post.
Mr Kimmel later went on to say, “ok now, see if you can guess which former president just posted that on Truth Social. Anyone? No?”
“Well, thank you, President Trump. Thank you for watching, I’m surprised you’re still – isn’t it past your jail time?”

THE MAGIC OF THE BULGARIAN FOLKLORE DANCE CONQUERS THE WORLD! WHY NOT?
1. Establishing the national identity! Bulgarian folklore is the richest folklore in the world in terms of rhythms.
2. Bulgarian folklore dance is one issue which can unite all the Bulgarians in the world.
3. The economic benefits of the project – using the Bulgarian folklore dance we can gain global PR and advertisement of the Bulgarian folklore, tourism and industry as a whole, which would help the establishment of the brand “MADE IN BULGARIA”. /The Bulgarians abroad are 2 million alone. If everyone participates in the project, given it takes 100 people to form traditional Bulgarian dance – that would mean 20,000 videos of Bulgarian folklore dances. Considering the creation of one video costs around 5,000 euro, that would mean the whole campaign is worth 100,000,000 euro!/
4. Bulgarian folklore dances with their unique uneven rhythms are not only Bulgarian’s fortune, but world’s as well.
5. The uneven rhythms have positive impact on the human’s health – THE ACTIVE DANCERS DO NOT SUFFER FROM CANCER OR SPINAL CURVATURE!
Given a scientific explanation, this news would attract huge interest from the whole world!
6. Establishing new Bulgarian folklore dances clubs around the world – new style in the physical activity of a person, which prevents the spinal curvature and cancers.
Let us all celebrate the 24th of May 2015 – the holiday of Bulgarian culture with a traditional Bulgarian folklore dance!
Let us all create one video /length 1-3 minutes/ with Bulgarian folklore dance to support this campaign.

This 2002 FRONTLINE documentary chronicles John O'Neill's struggle to convince the FBI to pay attention to the threat posed by Al Qaeda and Osama bin Laden. The former head of the FBI's flagship antiterrorism unit in New York City, O'Neill had investigated the bombings of the U.S. embassies in Africa and the USS Cole in Yemen. For five years, he led the fight to track down and prosecute Al Qaeda operatives throughout the world. But he was a controversial figure inside the buttoned-down world of the FBI. O'Neill's critics contend that his personal failings proved fatal to his FBI career. His supporters, however, believe his main failing was refusing to conform to the standard-issue FBI mold.
