Most fundamentally, why did the strange-looking craft on a mission to the wreck of the Titanic fail so spectacularly? And why, for days on end, was the world wrongly led to believe there was hope for a successful rescue mission? The lack of credible information about what really happened is now becoming increasingly unfathomable, not only for the families of the victims, but also for other undersea explorers like legendary Hollywood director James Cameron. Kate Winslet, now starring in "Lee," explains how hard it was to convince some in Hollywood to make a movie about a strong woman. "Lee" is the first film the "Titanic" star has produced.

The nearly week-long state funeral of former US President Jimmy Carter has officially begun following his death last month aged 100.

The six days of ceremonies started on Saturday with a motorcade procession from the Carters' hometown of Plains, Georgia, to Atlanta, where he will lie in repose until he is moved to Washington DC.

Once all the services have concluded, Carter will be buried in his hometown alongside his wife, Rosalynn, who died last year at age 96.

Jimmy Carter, the 39th President of the United States, lived longer than any president in history.

Part two of a two-part docuseries: FRONTLINE and Forbidden Films investigate Pegasus, a powerful spyware sold to governments around the world by the Israeli company NSO Group.

In 2020, the journalism nonprofit Forbidden Stories and Amnesty International gained access to a leaked list of more than 50,000 phone numbers. They suspected it contained numbers selected for potential surveillance with Pegasus. The Pegasus Project reporting consortium — which was led by Forbidden Stories and included 16 other media organizations, FRONTLINE among them — found that the spyware had been used on journalists, human rights activists, the wife and fiancée of the murdered Saudi columnist Jamal Khashoggi, and others.

Over two parts, this docuseries reveals the inside story of an investigation that prompted probes by governments and institutions around the world and sparked calls for an international treaty to govern the largely unregulated spyware industry.

NSO, which has disputed some of the Pegasus Project’s reporting, says that its technology was not associated in any way with Khashoggi’s murder and that it sells Pegasus to vetted governments for “the sole purpose of preventing and investigating terror and serious crime.”

210 Million Tons is about the excessive garbage the United States is creating and ways we can reduce, reuse, and recycle. This documentary features interviews with a director of solid waste at a landfill, dumpster divers, local authorities, a microbiologist, and several others on this issue.

This documentary was made with another production party Be Reel Pictures for a documentary filmmaking class at Colorado State University. There were two cameras in use, my XL2 and the Journalism Department's Panasonic which is why the video is split between wide screen and 4:3. The project went really well and the interviewees were an absolute blast to work with.
